Connecticut Parents Union to rally Wednesday at Capitol

HARTFORD — Connecticut Parents Union is rallying parents at the Capitol on Wednesday to claim a greater voice in the ongoing debate on education reform.

The event begins at noon with a forum on education reform featuring community leaders and lawmakers at Grace Lutheran Church in Hartford, followed by a rally from 3 to 6 p.m. on the north side of the Capitol building.

Michelle D. Bernard, founder and CEO of the Bernard Center for Women, Politics and Public Policy, and Michelle Ree, founder and CEO of Students First, are among the invited guests.
